General note
Developments at Art Center November 1974: More Than 350 Guests Expected For November 15 "Great Day" Celebration An enthusiastic response to invitations for Art Center's "Great Day" celebration indicates that over 350 guests, including many important representatives of the Pasadena community, will join us at the campus site on Friday, November 15. Among the speakers and special guests who will be introduced by Don Kubly during the program will be: Mortimer J. Matthews, Mayor of the City of Pasadena; the world renowned designer Charles Eames; the building's designer Craig Ellwood; Philip S. Fogg and other representatives of our Board of Regents and Executive Board; and Gary Priester, newly elected national president of the Society of Art Center Alumni. Following the brief speeches there will be a champagne toast to this landmark day in Art Center's history.
