Algemene aantekening

Developments at Art Center, January/February 1976: Art Center Dedicates and Opens Its New Campus The dedication was attended by more than 1,000 guests including many of our major donors and other friends from across the country. Among the keynote speakers introduced by Don Kubly were: Bill Lacy, head of the Architecture and Environmental Arts Division of the National Endowment for the Arts; William Mitchell, vice president, Design Staff at General Motors; and writer-philosopher Ray Bradbury. Industrial designer Raymond Loewy, an intended speaker, sent a cable message from a business assignment in Europe. Art Center's founder, E.A. "Tink" Adams, was acknowledged with a standing ovation when his new portrait by illustrator Mark English was presented to the college.
