General note

Taken from Lalla Lezli tribute. One of the most popular artists' models in Los Angeles from the 1940s until her death in late June 2002 was Lalla Lezli, known simply as Lalla. Lalla was a dancer as well as a model and posed for students at various art schools including Chouinard, Art Center, Otis, UCLA, and USC. At the Chouinard House, South Pasadena, the Chouinard Foundation held a one-day exhibit of works depicting her on Saturday, November 16, 2002. The show was spearheaded by Nancy Lilly, Lalla's close friend and Los Angeles life model agent.
