General note

Nokia sponsored project: An age of Meaningful Artifacts Mobile communications leader Nokia encouraged Advertising, Environmental, Graphics, Media and Product Design students who participated in this FEP to visualize the future of premium mobile communication experiences. The project focused on creating new mobile communication experiences for Nokia by understanding the future of "premium" and "timeless" design. Also emphasized was the development of sustainable products and processes that took personal communication devices from being "disposable products" to "meaningful artifacts." Student teams were challenged to redefine the concept of personal communication by developing new products, interface systems and design strategies.
