Biographical history
April Greiman (b. 1948) is a trans-media artist based in Los Angeles. Trained at the Kansas City Art Institute and the Basel School of Design, April’s work is best known for making the two-dimensional page into a three- and four-dimensional space. April is recognized as a leader of the California New Wave and continues to push the boundaries of graphic design with her firm Made in Space. She is also a member of the HMCT Advisory Board.

Poster for Ron Rezek. This work incorporated a still video image, captured in 35mm film off a monitor showing the video. It is the first piece incorporating digital technology that April felt was fully successful. Video imagery/silkscreen.
