History
Paul Hauge was born in Chicago, Illinois on October 28, 1936. His family moved to South Pasadena, and he earned degrees from Pasadena City College and the Art Center School (ADVT 1959). A notable and respected graphic designer, his work is in the permanent graphic design collections of The Victoria and Albert Museum, London, and the Museum of Modern Art, New York. He taught at Art Center for over 20 years, including at the Art Center (Europe) campus. He was Co-Chair of Communications Design, 1984-1986 and Chair of Communication Design at AC(E), 1988-1990. He died on June 8, 2021.
