General note
Designmatters received a grant from Sappi Ideas that Matter to print 2,000 copies of 10 student-designed books and send them to the Matènwa Community Learning Center in Haiti as part of their Mother Tongues book project. The relationship came from professor Elizabeth Chin, who did some work with Matènwa in her own research.
