Giving Groups

The Giving Groups series contains a sub-series for each giving group including: Art Center 100, Art Center Circle, Art Center Partners, and Legacy Circle. The files mainly consist of appeals and invitations to events.

Sponsored Projects

Computer Files

The Computer Files contain information about Sponsored Projects, including final student work.


The videos series contains 47 videocassettes mostly documenting sponsored projects from the late 1990s - early 2000s. There are other videos collected by the department that show film student work and animation student work.


The videos series contains 11 videocassettes collected by the Development office, featuring alumni work, events, news stories and a few videos with footage from a campaign kickoff dinner.


The files in the Campaigns series consist mostly of mass-produced mailings and reports documenting the outreach efforts and major College campaigns throughout the years. The publication Why Design? is an elaborately illustrated appeal for the 1987...

Donor Recognition

The Donor Recognition series mainly contains invitations to donor events.

Foundation Relations

The few files in the Foundation Relations series contain correspondence with foundations regarding giving. Of note is the Fairchild Foundation which helped fund the construction of the Pasadena campus and Ellwood building.

Design Associates

The Design Associates files contain information regarding the eponymous program and its promotion.


The Events Files are related to the corporate donor-related events, such as recognition luncheons and Super Thursdays.


The files in the Appeals series consist mostly of mass-produced mailings and reports documenting the outreach efforts and major College appeals throughout the years.

Planned Giving

The Planned Giving series contains booklets, brochures and mailings.

Campus Development

The Campus Development series consists of case books, master plans, and planning documents related to the College's architectural projects including the Ellwood building construction and updates, South Campus, and the Design Research Complex.


The Events series mainly contains invitations to fundraising events, including all of the printed materials for the Car Classic series.

Administrative Files

The Administrative Files document the varied responsibilities and endeavors of the department.

Donor Files

The Donor Files, in addition to donor histories and lead sheets, include correspondence files of major donors.
