California Production Service Photograph Book

Album of photographs created by Harold Stegman as part of his final student project and presented to the California Production Service Company. The black and white images document the workers and equipment of the petroleum company. Blue plastic cover has CPS embossed on the front. On the verso of the first page is a description of the "Pictorial Tribute."

The Harold Stegman papers consist of a silent film he created as a student and a book of photographs that supplemented the project. The workprint footage documents the operations of the California Production Service of Southern California, a petroleum company. Also included are two articles about Stegman’s professional work.

Silent workprint footage showing the operations of the California Production Service of Southern California, which was a petroleum company focused on oil well repair and service. The film was created by Stegman in 1951 for a final graduation project. Opening credits are: California Production Service of Southern California, Harry H. Hillman, President Presents" Hillman agreed to finance the project if he filmed the operations of the CPS.
