The Advertising Department fonds is a top level archival unit that encompasses everything in the Archives created by the Advertising department. Under the fonds-level are the following collections: Advertising collection of documents and Photograph collection.

The Art Center (Europe) fonds is a top level archival unit that includes the Art Center (Europe) document and photographs collections.

This small collection consists of records from Art Center Student Government (ACSG) including meeting minutes, newsletters, and posters.

The Center for the Student Experience collection consists of materials created and distributed by the CSE. The administrative files in Series 1 reflect their work with student orientations, international students, events, and the Student Leadership Award. Series 2 and 3 have student handbooks and health insurance plans respectively. Included in Series 4 of this collection are records from student organizations, except Art Center Student Government which has its own collection (RG 54.03). Series 5 contains The Installment, a typically monthly newsletter of announcements and wellness tips. Series 6 houses student-designed t-shirts that are distributed to new students at orientation.

Images from CSE-sponsored events starting in the mid-1980s can be found in the Photograph collection.

The Digital Media Department fonds is a top level archival unit that encompasses everything in the Archives created by the Digital Media department. Under the fonds-level are the following collections: Digital Media Department collection of documents and CDs, Photograph collection, and Video collection.

The Environmental Design Department fonds is a top level archival unit that encompasses everything in the Archives created by the Environmental Design department. Under the fonds-level are the following collections: Environmental Design Department collection of documents and Photograph collection.

The Exhibitions fonds is a top level archival unit that encompasses everything in the Archives documenting the various exhibitions and galleries at ArtCenter, beginning in the 1930s. Under the fonds-level are the following collections: Exhibitions collection and the Exhibitions photograph collection.

The Faculty Council fonds includes collections of records, photographs, videos, and Faculty Project Grant final projects.

The Film Department fonds is a top level archival unit that encompasses everything in the Archives created by the Film department. Under the fonds-level are the following collections: Film collection of documents, Photograph collection, and Moving Image collection of mostly student work.

The Graduate Art Department fonds is a top level archival unit that encompasses everything in the Archives created by the Graduate Art department. Under the fonds-level are the following collections: Graduate Art collection of documents, Photograph collection, Video collection, and the Graduate student thesis collection. The video collection contains videotaped guest lectures from a seminar class from 1986 to the present.
