The Photography and Imaging Department fonds is a top level archival unit that encompasses everything in the Archives created by the Photography and Imaging department. Under the fonds-level are the following collections: Photography and Imaging collection of documents and Photograph collection.

The Faculty Council fonds includes collections of records, photographs, videos, and Faculty Project Grant final projects.

The Graduate Film Department fonds is a top level archival unit that encompasses everything in the Archives created by the Graduate Film Department. Under the fonds-level are the following collections: records, photographs, videos, and the thesis collection.

This small collection consists of records from Art Center Student Government (ACSG) including meeting minutes, newsletters, and posters.

The Graduate Media Design Practices fonds is a top level archival unit that encompasses everything in the Archives created by the Graduate Media Design Practices department. The Product Design Department fonds is a top level archival unit that encompasses everything in the Archives created by the Product Design department. Under the fonds-level are the following collections: Product Design Department collection, Department Chairs collections, and Photograph collection.

The Environmental Design Department fonds is a top level archival unit that encompasses everything in the Archives created by the Environmental Design department. Under the fonds-level are the following collections: Environmental Design Department collection of documents and Photograph collection.

The Graduate Art Theory and Criticism Department fonds is a top level archival unit that encompasses everything in the Archives created by the Graduate Art Theory and Criticism Department. Under the fonds-level are the following collections: Graduate Art Theory and Criticism collection of documents, photograph collection, and the thesis collection.

The Center for the Student Experience collection consists of materials created and distributed by the CSE. The administrative files in Series 1 reflect their work with student orientations, international students, events, and the Student Leadership Award. Series 2 and 3 have student handbooks and health insurance plans respectively. Included in Series 4 of this collection are records from student organizations, except Art Center Student Government which has its own collection (RG 54.03). Series 5 contains The Installment, a typically monthly newsletter of announcements and wellness tips. Series 6 houses student-designed t-shirts that are distributed to new students at orientation.

Images from CSE-sponsored events starting in the mid-1980s can be found in the Photograph collection.

The video collection contains videotaped guest lectures from a seminar class from 1986 to the present.
