Biographical history

Nancy Lilly was born in Quantico, Virginia. After getting married, she moved to California where she eventually got an administrative job at the Los Angeles Art Association. It was there that she learned about ArtCenter and met Fine Art faculty. She began modeling at ArtCenter and that led to becoming Manager of the Model Office and Prop Room in 1978 when her predecessor retired. After retiring from the Model Office in 2002, she continued scheduling models for private classes and Chouinard for a brief while.
