Accounted by Mary Clift (meeting on July 11, 2001) I met with Irene Gutterman Vermeers at her home and had a wonderful conversation regarding her days as the school photographer at Art Center School. This architectural model, as Irene tells the story, was created as the model for a new campus to be built on Wilshire. A donor, who offered to give the money for the school, backed out during the planning stages so the models were as far as the process went.
