Biographical history

Warren Johnson (FINE 1950) was born on November 10, 1920 in Omaha, Nebraska. He finished the Art Center School with a certificate of completion, but not an actual diploma. Later in his career he needed a degree on his résumé, so he contacted Registrar Karla Martell who gave him a list of courses to take to earn the diploma. After completing the classes at New York University, he was awarded an Art Center diploma in 1960.
